Beautiful monster, the only nick pick i have is that the guy looks like he's standing with his nose touching the snakes body, he doesnt look like hes looking at the entire thing but rather just staring at 'A scale'. A couple of lines at the lower end of the rock and the removal of the 'shadows?' of the sticks on the snake and it would be perfect in my mind
Very, very good composition. The addition of the warrior guy on the rocks immediately sets up the contrast of size between the two. The dirt-like texture is a nice touch too, feels like he's emerging from an underground tunnel of some sort.
Really awesome. I checked out that video tutorial too, but holy shit, there seems to be no rhyme or reason behind his method. It seems like such a time waster instead of just getting in there and really creating the forms and shapes. Seems to me like its a lot of dancing around the concept instead of cutting to the chase.
yeah. its kinda refreshing. you go into the pic with no expectations other than the fact that youre gonna get an end product. i like it a lot. im gonna give it a few more tries. did you watch the one where hes talking or did you just watch the ones where hes not?
