out of curiosity only..i wonder what loki might look like with some blued goggles instead of shades i dunno just a thought and btw i really like these characters they have really inspired me to try some of my own. your art is beautiful and imaginative i especially like your combat suits.
I will give you a crit on this eventually, but as of now I'd like to say the helmet designs (especially cuz they got a little circle looking end to the visors, are awesome.) i'll say more eventually, nice stuff you've been doing lately, chew. sorry I'm not so active
Over all the picture is really good. The only thing ive noticed is that it seems that Freya's eye are a bit off, it looks a little like on is tilted towards us and the other is pointing straight forward.
I really like the way you render suits and mechanical objects, they look super sleek.
Actually, I don't mind the long nose thing as much; I feel like it's more of your style coming through, rather than being something particularly distracting (to me anyway). If anything, I would say that Freya's hair shape is a little rough compared to how everything else is so refined, and that sometimes your lighting is a little inconsistent. Though the lighting thing is a hard thing to get a grasp on-- especially in group pictures, so I wouldn't necessarily count it as a flaw; it's a minor thing you could fix with more retouching.
blergh...the long noses must go... its annoying me to no end > yeah ive heard some comments about my lighting as well. lol i like playing with reflected light and shadows...ill see if i can tighten it up though. cant break the rules till theyre mastered thanks for the feedback.
Awww. ;A; Lighting is hard, but I think you're definitely good enough to master it once you take your time with it. It's not that they're "loose" in any sense right now; it's just small inconsistencies that you only notice after staring at it for a moment. At a quick glance it looked alright. =]
On Freya I feel like her eyes are too close together considering the size of her head... and for the older man, nose length is especially noticeable since it's an angle looking up, so it looks extra long.
You've still got that loooong nose issue going on there. It's looking a lot better but it's still noticeable. The guy with the open mask on lower left looks like his head has been squished vertically to accommodate the helmet. And that girl has some humongo tits, but gravity is taking its toll on them Her shoulder is a bit round too. The guy in the middle is looking pretty good, but his neck is a little beefy. Then again, you could've intended that. I really like the helmets, especially the pointy chin and samurai back. Go rob go!
Hey man Im lovin' your painting style lately!Lokilooks badass as always...!I guess the only crit i have is the characters heads..and maybe the over all pic feels "squished" in a way...i wonder if its because of the cintiq or maybe its just me..but it still looks hot.^^
