That is a strange question to answer....and the number varies greatly by how loyal the troops are....

(0) ASIAN PRIDE!!!

Think your life sucks? A man was nailed through his hands and feet onto a tree. Before that he was whipped and wore a crown of thorns. He committed no crime, but his blood was used to pay for our sins. His name was Jesus Christ.

I find this piece very moving. You set a pretty good mood, and I totally got what you were saying before I read the artist's comments.

btw, what is the object the man is holding?

Immortality is short lived.

thanks im glad you like.

back in the day the samurai commanders rarely joined the fray of battle. they would sit with their retainers and signal the troops with some sort of object. that object was either a paddle with a symbol on it or a fan. they used bright contrasting colors so that it could be seen from a distance.

Being a massive fan of Samurai, to answer your rhetorical question... "As many as is necessary to achieve victory". To serve one's lord should be the only concern of a vassal.

"Even if one's head is cut off, one should still be able to perform one last action with certainty" ~Hagakure

fair enough
