ARGHHH!!!!!!! this is officially hell week. ive got so much crap due.AHHHHHHHHH!!

but enough about my personal problems.

this is for and her elements contest.

heres the bio.

this is Rheia (ray-yah).
shes a lightning deity. shes very witty and is very hard to converse with. almost ADD like (sry to those who have). she also gets into so much trouble that she often has to ask the other deities for help. however she is capable of solving much of the problems that she creates.

The suit as well as the sword glow whenever she channels lightning through her. even her hair and eyes light up a little. while this isnt noticeable during the day at night its pretty freakin scary to see a long neon snake like thing unwinding and a dimly lit figure coming towards u.

the sword is a recycled concept i used in another one of my works. the sword is a whip sword which i think reflects the nature of lightning perfectly. like lightning it can be fatal, random, and very beautiful at the same time. it is also able to retract and form a long sword. since she isnt all that strong she channels the lightning through the sword and manipulates it thus turning the sword into a very long extension of herself. i dont know what i could call it. ill leave that up to Kyra.

as for drawing and coloring this pic i had a blast. the actual picture is 2 pieces of 8.5 x 11 paper turned horizontally. i had to scan in both sections. coloring took awhile but it turned out great.
