Description

The sun had begun dipping below the horizon as Jon dropped his pack and perched on a jutting rock formation. The sky turned a deep red orange as the clouds rolled in dumping heavy rain upon the landscape. The river which marked the border of the reserve gleamed like a vein of hot silver off in to the distance in the last rays of the sun. Jon pulled out his binoculars and began surveying the landscape. As he observed from his position his two partners strode up behind him. 2 Kudu bull drones, Anengoni and Buumi, took up position behind him and began surveying the expanse sweeping with their sensors while networking with other drones in the area.

A rash of poaching had occurred in the area near the river. There were no access roads nor villages near this section of the park and the crocs did a great job of deterring would be poachers from crossing the river. This was not enough to deter all poachers though and recently a handful had succeeded. Jon gave them credit for braving the crocodiles but his admiration stopped there. Calling in his arrival to Ranger HQ he settled in and watched the sun set. His night patrol was about to begin and he would need his wits about him. The Bush held many surprises for both friend and foe alike.

Kudu Drones. While formidable in appearance Kudu drones are typically used for reconnaissance and observation. Theirs horns are long and can pierce most body armor, drone armor, and thin vehicle plating but they will only engage in combat as a last resort. Swift, graceful, and alert they are the perfect eyes and ears for any ranger or research operation.

Very cool. May I ask why you chose the name "Big Five"?
